Winemakers Bill Batchelor and Lindsey Haughton share a collaborative approach to winemaking at Angeline Winery.
Bill brings a blend of experience from small-scale wineries and high volume production houses that fits particularly well with Courtney’s vision for Angeline. For the past thirteen years, Bill has been drawing on his expertise from both ends of the spectrum to hone the “sweet spot” of artisanal methods and cutting edge technology.
Lindsey Haughton also has both small and large volume experience. At Angeline, she puts her knack for the logistics of larger production to good use while indulging her love of small lot winemaking.
Bill and Lindsey also work closely with wine consultant Keith Emerson, an expert on Bordeaux varietals from Napa Valley, having worked for heavy hitters such Vineyard 29, Robert Craig and Gundlach-Bundschu in addition to developing his own labels. Keith also brings to the team a keen intuition of Burgundian varietals and profound knowledge of the Russian River Valley.
